This is a private, in-home studio. Walk-ins are not permitted.

 

All appointments for INSTANT BOOKING are by reservation only and require:

  • A confirmed date and time

  • A selected service at the time of booking

  • Payment in full for the selected service

 

Booking Multiple Services

If you need services for more than one person on the same date, simply book each appointment separately.

  

Instant Booking, Payment, Reschedule & Cancellation Policies

 At Alexis Michael Hair and Makeup, I’m dedicated to providing every client with a seamless, high-quality experience. However, I understand that plans can change. Please review the following policies carefully before booking. 

💳 Payment & Refund Policy 

Due to the high demand for in-studio and drop-in hair and makeup appointments, as well as the nature of special events and photoshoots typically being booked weeks to months in advance, appointment availability is limited. When you reserve an appointment, that date and time is held exclusively for you and removed from my availability, often preventing another client from booking that appointment date and time.

 

For this reason, all payments made toward reserving a hair and makeup appointment are nonrefundable. Cancellations, no-shows, changes in personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, or a decision not to proceed with services do not qualify for a refund. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree that your payment is made to reserve your appointment time on my calendar and that no refunds will be provided for reserved appointments. 

📅 Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify me as far in advance as possible, as appointment availability is limited and often books quickly. $50 rescheduling fee will apply to all appointment date changes. Rescheduled appointments are subject to future availability and cannot be guaranteed.

🌦️ Weather & Outdoor Photoshoot Policy

For outdoor photoshoots, weather conditions can occasionally impact the scheduled session. If inclement weather is forecasted, I ask that you keep me informed and remain in communication with both me and your photographer as your appointment date approaches.

 If your photographer determines that the session should be rescheduled due to unsafe or unfavorable weather conditions, I will do my best to accommodate a new appointment date based on my availability. 

While the standard $50 rescheduling fee applies to appointment date changes, I understand that weather is outside of everyone’s control. Weather-related rescheduling fees may be waived or adjusted at Alexis Michael Hair and Makeup’s sole discretion when there has been timely communication and the reschedule is coordinated with both the client and photographer. 

Rescheduled appointments remain subject to future availability and cannot be guaranteed.

🚫 Cancellations & No-Shows

If you cancel your appointment or fail to attend your scheduled appointment, your reserved appointment will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. 

⏰ Late Arrival

A 15-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. Arriving later than 15 minutes may impact the quality or completion of your service. Appointments cannot be extended beyond the originally scheduled time, and services may need to be shortened or canceled at Alexis’s discretion. 

Booking Approvals & Service Alignment 

If an instant booking is made for a service or vision that does not align with Alexis Michael Hair and Makeup’s offerings, Alexis reserves the right to cancel the appointment. 

Clients will be notified and refunded (if applicable) in such cases.

  

Booking Beyond 90 Days
